I guess the files you shared are in your C drive I to can also share them. I have a \D drive & E drive with various folders that I need to share on my network. the sharing method you show in your video only work on folders in C Drive ie; this PC I have folders which show shared on another PC when I try to access said folders I get the message (Windows cannot access desktop- 12345 you do not have permission to access desktop-12345 contact your network administrator for permission. when I click on more information it tells me I need to join a Homegroup) thats the problem No longer available on win10. I still run 2PCs with win 7 3hdds in each and all partitioned giving numerous drives Win 10 can access everything no problem Hanging on to 7 for as long as possible Maybe you can find a solution right now I have been down every path I can think of Also I would like to know why micro soft think they know what's best for everybody as we all have different requirements PS Thanks for posting vid unfortunately did not help me.
